Artist Bio

 Born in the great city of Detroit, Eric Hood is one of the newest upcoming artists to hit the scene. The Michigan native started his musical journey before he left the womb. He contributes his love for music to his mother who would put headphones on her belly allow the flowetic beauty fill his ears. When he was born she would woo him playing classical music as he slept in his crib. Eric was introduced to a wide verity of musical genres at a very early age. This resulted in the lyrical genius that is Eric’s foundation today. Influenced by artists such as Jill Scott, Tupac, Raheem Devaughn, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Biggie, The Temptations and Young Jeezy, Eric incorporates all these styles into his music. With smooth lyrical word play and an out of this world delivery, Eric is legendary. He also is a jack of his trade recording his own tracks, mixing and mastering in his own studio. He’s currently working on his mixtape entitled Unexpected which will drop this fall. He has set high standards and expectations for his music and judging from his lyrical abilities he’s not far from reaching the top.
